My Spiritual Journey to the Most Incredible Place on Earth
My journey actually began before I got to Kauai through e-mails between Jeanne Russell and myself.
I found her through a muse letter put out daily in Kauai. Spiritual Dolphin Adventures and Dolphin Touch Hawaii had an advertisement there
And that is where it all began…
This wonderful person I had never met (Jeanne) continued the e-mails telling me of amazing experiences to be had during my trip.
Swimming with the dolphins of course was my #1 interest! At first anyway. There were so many things Jeanne told me about and through each message I became more and more excited about my 2nd trip to Kauai.
If you’ve never been to Kauai I have to say it is a journey unto its own in so many ways. The Island is bursting with spiritual energy, lush mountains and the most breathtaking beaches on this planet. Oh and I must mention the people of Kauai. They are so kind, helpful, open and such beautiful souls here.
The morning spent with Z Tours on our quest for the dolphin was exhilarating! Nicole Workman and her crew are a wonderful bunch. From helping a 1st timer in snorkeling gear and wearing a wet suit with flippers to the energy of Nicole and her connection to the dolphins amazed me every step of the way.
Nicole is blessed with this spiritual connection to the dolphins and it bubbles up out of her constantly!
We encountered Bottlenose Dolphins and Spinner Dolphins and tried to get ahead of them to meet them in the ocean. Unfortunately we didn’t hit the mark on that one BUT where we jumped into the ocean, there were around 30 giant Sea Turtles!
These creatures are so beautiful, peaceful and one of the very best experiences of my life!
One of her crew, Paul was kind of roped off to me because I had never swam in the open ocean like this before. He was so helpful and always right there for me without it even seeming like a burden. He was gracious and always made me feel safe.
Later in the day when I laid down to relax, I could still feel the energy of the ocean and my experience coursing through my body!
On another night Jeanne invited me to an open channeling session with her friends Kathy and Rod Russell at their home in Kappa. Myself being the ever ‘getting lost’ person, Jeanne met me and a few others in town to lead us to Kathy and Rods (thank you!).
Once there, meeting Kathy and Rod was wonderful. They are amazing souls and make you feel completely welcome in their gorgeous home.
Open channeling was an experience in itself of immense proportions. That night, even though I was trying to keep a low profile, I was drawn into one of the replies from spirit who made it clear the message coming through was for me as well. You have the opportunity to ask questions and the answers from spirit can be very in-depth to a humorous reply. You need to be careful how you word your question.
I actually made an appointment for a personal channeling session with them and so very happy I did this. Not only did I receive answers to important questions of my life path, I feel that I made connections with Kathy and Rod that will be with me forever.
There is a spiritual hike too with Shaman Larry Williamson. We went on a path that lead to ‘Sleeping Giant.’ Larry asked us to open our minds and let perception be our guide in what we saw on our journey. Larry is a kind man that sees the beauty in everything, as we all should. Our hike was wonderful with a dynamic in our group that flowed smoothly and we not only learned a lot about this area of Kauai, but also learned about the lives of the people in our group. It truly was a wonderful day.
Jeanne Russell is a beautiful soul along with all the others I met on this journey. I must say how Jeanne goes out of her way to welcome you to the Island and her kindness in everything she does goes above and beyond. I know I made a true friendship with her and I am excited to plan my next trip to Kauai!
