Hi – I’m Jeanne Russell and I am a Master Reiki Instructor and Practitioner. I have been practicing Reiki for 6 years and in the process developed a new technique called Dolphin Touch.
Dolphin Touch is a combination of Reiki, Energy Work and Bodywork. This new and innovative modality is different than a massage. A massage assists you on the physical level; energy work is healing on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels.
With the Dolphin Touch method, I use energy work to tune into the specific needs of your body and then use the Reiki energy to push through blockages (i.e., an area of pain felt in the body is usually caused by blocked energy). Reiki utilizes my energy in combination with Universal Life Force energy to push through those blockages allowing energy to flow freely.
Once the Reiki/energy work is complete, the final step is sacred touch, which breaks up all remaining blockages. Special massage oil is used which contains essential oils easily absorbed by the body. The use of this oil creates another element of relaxation and healing through aroma therapy.
To relax the body even further, the session takes place on a heated water massage table. This specialized table encourages the body to completely surrender while being supported, cushioned and nurtured. During the session you are bathed in the sounds of the ocean and surrounded by pictures of dolphins. While you are floating you will notice a gentle rocking sensation, which further transports you into an aquatic realm – don’t be surprised if you feel as if you’re swimming with the dolphins! Clients have commented on feeling the dolphin energy all around them during a session.
